12th Chandigarh Arts Heritage Festival: Folk songs, dance cast a spell on Day 1

Folks songs, dance and a skit marked Day 1 of the 12th Chandigarh Arts & Heritage Competition at Tagore Theatre right here right now.

Virtually full to its capability, it appeared just like the previous instances because the viewers clapped and sang with the artistes and laughed their coronary heart out at two ‘bhands’ (entertainers) performed by Malkeet and Kamal Malanga.

Proper from Rza Heer’s Jutti Kasuri, Rajat Raj’s Challa to folks dances, each bit was loved by the viewers — an excellent combine of individuals from totally different age teams, together with toddlers and senior residents.

Historic play Shaheed Udham Singh may also be showcased through the competition that concludes on September 24.
