The Chandigarh Police have detained three individuals in reference to the Saturday incident the place the autos of Mayor Ravi Kant Sharma and BJP co-incharge for Himachal Pradesh Sanjay Tandon have been vandalised by some “anti-social parts” throughout a protest held in help of farmers outdoors the motor market in Sector 48.

The three individuals have been taken to a police station at Sector 49.
Whereas pro-farmer organisations, together with Chandigarh’s Naujawan Kisan Ekta, have repeatedly stated that none of their volunteers attacked the BJP leaders’ autos, they’ve been arrested and allegedly overwhelmed by the UT Police.
When contacted, SP Metropolis Ketan Bansal stated, “Now we have not made any arrests in the present day and are solely making an attempt to determine vandalisers.”
On pro-farmer WhatsApp teams, image of a person, who has been allegedly lacking since yesterday’s protest, is doing the rounds.
Advocate Ravinder Singh, former president District Bar Affiliation, Chandigarh, stated, “A number of the individuals have been rounded up at 1 am. Our organisation Legal professionals for Humanity will present free authorized support to the arrested individuals.”
In the meantime, the three arrested persons are being taken to the District Courts at Sector 43.
