Police have arrested three farmers from central Delhi for allegedly violating lockdown norms, officers mentioned on Tuesday.
The three males, residents of Punjab, have been arrested on Monday as they didn’t have motion passes, a senior police officer mentioned.
The farmers mentioned they got here to the Bangla Sahib Gurdwara at Connaught Place to pay obeisance and stayed there for 2 days, he added.
They claimed that they have been going to the Singhu border and didn’t have any intention to stage a protest in central Delhi, the officer mentioned. — PTI
