NEW DELHI:A 29-year-old man was allegedly murdered by his landlord in northwest Delhi’s Shalimar Bagh space on Tuesday over suspicion of an extramarital relationship between the deceased and the owner’s spouse, police mentioned.

In accordance with officers, the accused, recognized by police as Virender, a resident of Indira Colony, walked into the police station round 4.20 pm, carrying blood-stained garments and confessed to killing his tenant, Kanhaiya.
“Police reached the spot together with the accused and located the sufferer with a number of stab accidents and his throat was slit,” an officer mentioned, including that the alleged homicide weapon was recovered.
Police mentioned, throughout questioning, the accused allegedly advised police that he suspected that the sufferer was in a relationship along with his spouse. “His suspicion seems to be the motive behind the crime,” the officer mentioned.
