Mann Govt launches statewide celebrations with Grand Kirtan Darbar in Rupnagar to mark 650th Parkash Purab of Guru Ravidas

Rupnagar : The Punjab authorities, beneath the management of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, on Sunday commenced statewide celebrations of the 650th Parkash Purb of Guru Ravidas with a grand non secular Kirtan Darbar held at Nehru Stadium in Rupnagar.

The occasion marked the start of a year-long collection of programmes geared toward spreading the teachings and common message of Guru Ravidas throughout Punjab. The night witnessed devotional kirtan by famous ragis, adopted by katha highlighting the Guru’s message of equality, concord, and social justice.

Punjab Finance Minister Harpal Singh Cheema, who attended as chief visitor, stated the initiative seeks to take the teachings of Guru Ravidas to each nook of the state by way of non secular and academic programmes in colleges, faculties, and universities.
