The Plane Accident Investigation Bureau (AAIB) has probed 19 accidents and severe incidents that occurred within the final one 12 months within the nation, the federal government stated on Monday.
Minister of State for Civil Aviation Murlidhar Mohol informed the Rajya Sabha that each one plane accidents and severe incidents reported within the nation within the final one 12 months have been reviewed by the AAIB.
Investigations are carried out as per Worldwide Civil Aviation Organisation (ICAO) Annex 13 and in accordance with the Plane (Investigation of Accidents and Incidents) Guidelines, 2025.
In a written reply, the minister stated a complete of 19 “accidents/severe incidents have occurred in final one 12 months that are being investigated by AAIB”.
Investigation for one severe incident has been accomplished and the report has been printed on the AAIB web site. Remaining different accidents/incidents are beneath investigation, he added.
