On today, two years in the past, Anand Gandhi and Rahi Anil Barve’s critically acclaimed Tumbbad launched in theatres. Touted as India’s first interval horror film, the Sohum Shah-starrer went on to earn a number of accolades for its performances, course, storytelling in addition to cinematography.
On Tumbbad’s second anniversary, its co-writer and artistic director Anand Gandhi defined how the characteristic is a one-of-a-kind horror allegory.
