Aviation Ministry Forms Advisory Group To Resolve Challenges Amid COVID

“The teams shall meet frequently to deliberate upon points and resolve challenges dealing with every sector. Orders have been issued for a similar,” it added. The primary advisory group includes chiefs of all main airways in India — Air India Chairman and Managing Director Rajiv Bansal, IndiGo Chairman Rahul Bhatia, SpiceJet Chairman Ajay Singh, Go First Director Ness Wadia, Vistara Chairman Bhaskar Bhat, AirAsia India CEO Sunil Bhaskaran, Alliance Air CEO Harpreet A De Singh.

In keeping with the Aviation Ministry’s order on July 20, the primary group would advise the federal government on points comparable to safeguarding the viability of airways, enhancing the home and worldwide connectivity, promotion of passenger and cargo companies, manpower skilling within the aviation sector and improvement of India as a hub for passenger journey, cargo and MRO companies.

The second group includes prime officers of main Indian airport operators — Airports Authority of India Chairman Sanjeev Kumar, GMR Group Enterprise Chairman G B S Raju, Adani Group Vice President Jeet Adani and Bangalore Worldwide Airport Restricted Chief Govt Officer Hari Okay Marar.

One other Aviation Ministry’s order acknowledged that the second group would advise the federal government on points together with enhancing the airport capability, infrastructure augmentation and modernisation, rising passenger services and facilities at airports and regulatory points regarding airports.
