Akal Welfare Society organised a blood donation camp at Sirhind at the moment. Didar Singh Bhatti, halka in-charge, SAD (B), inaugurated the camp. A crew of medical doctors from the Civil Hospital, Fatehgarh Sahib, collected greater than 50 items of blood on the camp.
Addressing the gathering, Bhatti mentioned each drop of blood was valuable because it saved human lives. Blood was a pure present and might be collected by donation, he added.
