Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal on Tuesday introduced a donation of Rs 15 crore for aid efforts in flood-hit Telangana, saying individuals of Delhi stand with residents of the state.
“Floods have induced havoc in Hyderabad. Folks of Delhi stand by our brother and sisters in Hyderabad on this hour of disaster. “Delhi govt will donate Rs 15 cr to the Govt of Telangana for its aid efforts,” he tweeted.

As many as 70 individuals have died in rain-related incidents through the previous one week within the state, Telangana Minister KT Rama Rao mentioned on Monday.
The minister mentioned “Hyderabad acquired the second highest recorded rainfall after 1908, which compelled the state authorities to relocate about 37,000 individuals from low-lying areas to aid camps.
In line with him, 33 individuals in Better Hyderabad Municipal Company (GHMC) and adjoining areas, and 37 individuals in districts have misplaced their lives.

A recent spell of heavy rains on Saturday evening induced flooding on Sunday in elements of the town after it final week witnessed one of many worst deluges in latest instances following unprecedented downpour in over a century.
