Delhi: Hotel owner shot dead in Vasant Kunj, tenant prime suspect

A 52-year-old businessman was allegedly shot lifeless close to the lodge he owned in southwest Delhi’s Vasant Kunj space late on Sunday.

The deceased, recognized as Krishan Pal Sehrawat, lived in Gurgaon and owned a lodge known as Dolphin Worldwide in Mahipalpur. He was shot within the head, stated the police.

The police stated Sehrawat gave his lodge on lease to a person round 10 months in the past and was having points with the tenant over payments and lease fee. The tenant, Roshan Mishra, and his associates are the prime suspects and they’re on the run, stated the police.

Round 11 pm on Sunday, the police acquired a PCR name from Sehrawat’s brother in regards to the alleged homicide. Gaurav Sharma, DCP (Southwest) stated: “The caller advised us that his brother was shot in Mahipalpur. Sehrawat was rushed to Spinal Harm Centre the place the docs declared him lifeless. He had a gunshot wound close to his temple”

Throughout preliminary investigation, the police discovered that Sehrawat and Mishra had a scuffle over pending electrical energy payments and lease quantity. Sehrawat was attempting to get the payments paid and requested for the lease quantity however Mishra had not cleared any of the payments, stated the police.

The police are questioning witnesses on the spot and scanning CCTVs to determine the assailants.
