Rohtak, July 18
The farmer-activists who had been staging a protest demonstration close to the native residence of senior BJP chief and former Haryana minister Manish Grover for 5 days over alleged obscene gesture made in the direction of farmers and girls protesters from Grover’s automobile at Hisar on July 10 ended the dharna after an amicable settlement late final night time.
The dharna ended after representatives of the protesters met the previous minister following mediation by some distinguished residents and the native administration.
As per the protesters, Grover talked to some ladies who claimed to have witnessed the Hisar incident.
The ladies, nonetheless, maintained that they didn’t recognise the particular person seated with Vinod Bhayana, the BJP MLA from Hansi, within the automobile.
The previous minister touched the toes of the enraged ladies and sought their blessings.
Following that, All-India Kisan Sabha (AIKS) chief Inderjit Singh introduced the lifting of the dharna and cancellation of the ‘mahila nyay panchayat’ referred to as at Rohtak on July 19, which was slated to be addressed by the highest nationwide leaders of the Sanyukt Kisan Morcha (SKM).
