Doorstep supply of public companies, a mission run by the Delhi authorities, resumed after almost six months. It was quickly discontinued on March 23 as a result of Covid pandemic.
The federal government had signed a three-year contract with VFS World, a preferred visa processing agency, in 2018 to run the mission, below which 100 varieties of public companies are home-delivered by cellular sahayaks. As reported by The Indian The Press Reporter on August 10, many sahayaks – last-mile brokers who reply to service requests made through helpline 1076 – had been terminated in the course of the lockdown.
VFS World advised The Indian The Press Reporter, “We’ve got resumed operations for supply of civic companies as a part of the Delhi doorstep mission, efficient September 1. Nicely-being, well being and security of cellular sahayaks and residents stay the point of interest of our security measures…”
