Further Chief Electoral Officer, Haryana, Hema Sharma stated no individual shall conduct any exit ballot and publish or publicise via print or digital media or disseminate in another method the results of any such train for the Ellenabad bypoll.
She stated these orders had been issued by the Election Fee (EC) in regard to the bypolls of Parliamentary and Meeting constituencies being held in varied states and Union Territories.
Sharma stated below the Illustration of the Folks Act, 1951, the EC had prohibited the conduct of any exit ballot and publishing and publicising its outcome by the technique of print or digital media or dissemination in another method between 6 am and seven.30 pm on October 30.
