Farmer unions on Sunday condemned the demand for speedy implementation of the Important Commodities Modification Act (ECAA) by a parliamentary committee.
The ECAA is among the three legal guidelines in opposition to which farmers have been protesting at Delhi’s borders.
The parliamentary panel, which additionally has members from opposition events, together with the Congress, TMC and the AAP, requested the federal government to implement in “letter and spirit” the ECAA.
These events have been demanding repeal of all three farm legal guidelines enacted by the Centre not too long ago.
