Chandigarh:4 districts of Punjab received new Deputy Commissioners on Monday. As per the official orders, Himanshu Aggarwal (2014-batch) has been posted as Deputy Commissioner of Patiala, changing Varjeet Walia (2018-batch).
In a corresponding transfer, Varjeet Walia has been appointed as Deputy Commissioner of Jalandhar.
Aakash Bansal (2019-batch) has been posted as Deputy Commissioner of Kapurthala rather than Amit Kumar Panchal.
In the meantime, Amit Kumar Panchal (2016-batch) has been posted as Deputy Commissioner of Sri Muktsar Sahib, changing Abhijeet Kaplish (2015-batch). Abhijeet Kaplish will now function Director, Mines and Geology.
