Google says supports work to update international tax rules

Washington, June 5

Google stated on Saturday that it helps the work being achieved to replace worldwide tax guidelines after G7 finance ministers agreed to pursue a worldwide minimal company tax of a minimum of 15% and to reallocate taxing rights for big, worthwhile multinational firms.

“We strongly assist the work being achieved to replace worldwide tax guidelines. We hope international locations proceed to work collectively to make sure a balanced and sturdy settlement can be finalized quickly,” Google spokesman José Castañeda stated in an emailed assertion. — Reuters
