A DETAILED draft ‘zonal grasp plan’ for the Sultanpur Nationwide Park (SNP) in Gurgaon has been authorised, permitting building of motels/resorts/amusement parks/dhabas/eating places, grain godowns and gasoline filling stations in conformity with a ‘tourism grasp plan’, past three km as much as the eco-sensitive zone, within the agriculture zone of the nationwide park. A No-Objection Certificates (NOC) will probably be required from the chief wildlife warden, Haryana.
The authorised grasp plan bans any type of building inside 300 metres, institution of latest wood-based industries inside 1 km of the park, new business building of any sort inside three km from the boundary of park, use of air stress horn, and erection of latest cell towers inside three km distance from the boundary.
The plan permits native folks residing inside three km of park boundary to undertake building on their land for residential use. The draft plan was authorised at a gathering of the State Wildlife Board, chaired by Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar, on the Haryana Secretariat in Chandigarh.
“As quite a few housing initiatives are developing in Gurgaon, there was a dire want for a zonal grasp plan for Sultanpur Nationwide Park. The grasp plan accommodates lists of prohibited, regulated and promoted actions,” mentioned sources.
The Sultanpur Nationwide Park was declared a nationwide park in 1991. To offset anthropic stress on the park, a buffer of 5 km across the park was declared as an eco-sensitive zone in January 2010.
