In continuation with Tuesday’s raid on drug cartel smuggling Covid and most cancers therapy medication abroad, a joint staff of police and District Drug Management division Meals & Medication Administration nabbed a chemist in the present day.
The accused, Pardeep, proprietor of Medigreen Pharmacy, Jharsa, in Gurugram, allegedly offered Remdesivir injection to smugglers with out payments.
The staff recovered 84 vials of Covid therapy drug Remdesivir from Pardeep, which he had hidden in a room at his village 30 km from Gurugram.
Pardeep reportedly instructed police that the stock of injections was to be offered to smugglers nabbed yesterday and was to be despatched to Iraq. Ramdesivir injections had been bought with out bill by Pardeep for Rs 15,000 per vial and offered above MRP to Mohnaad with out issuing sale bill.
The staff of police and CM flying squad with FDA officers is making all efforts to nab the individuals within the chain, who for profiteering throughout COVID-19 pandemic, are black marketeering medicines that are important for therapy of COVID 19.
