A 22-year-old girl was bludgeoned to dying by a mini gasoline cylinder, allegedly by her husband, following an altercation of their rented lodging at Chauma village right here, police mentioned on Thursday.
Police arrested the husband, who allegedly fled the scene on Tuesday after locking the room, on Thursday and booked him for homicide on the Bajghera police station, they mentioned.
In line with police, Gunjan lived along with her husband Sunil (22) on hire close to the Chauma railway crossing. When her neghbours seen that the room was locked since Tuesday, they peeked via the window on Wednesday night, and located Gunjan mendacity in a pool of blood.
The owner advised police that the lady lived there along with her husband, who labored as a labourer, for the previous a number of months.
Police launched a seek for Sunil, initially from Samastipur district in Bihar, after registering an FIR and arrested him on Thursday, a spokesperson for Gurugram Police mentioned.
