Heading home from work, man stabbed to death in Central Delhi

A 42-year-old electrician was stabbed to loss of life, allegedly by two unidentified armed assailants, in Central Delhi’s Patel Nagar in what police suspect is a theft bid. The person, Manoj alias Chhotu Ram, was on his approach dwelling and meant to take his spouse for ‘karwa chauth’ purchasing quickly after.

Police stated the assailants took his cellphone, ring, chain and round Rs 1,100 in money after stabbing him. Police have discovered CCTV footage from the spot and are conducting raids to nab them.

One other eyewitness recalled that Manoj shouted ‘chor-chor’ and tried to chase the accused earlier than he fell to the bottom. Passersby who noticed him in a bloodied state alerted the police.
