Three Lashkar-e-Toiba (LeT) militants, together with a Pakistani nationwide, have been killed in an encounter with safety forces in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir on Wednesday, police stated.
A gunbattle broke out in Pulwama city of the south Kashmir district after the safety forces launched a cordon-and-search operation following details about the presence of militants there, a police official stated.
He stated the search operation became an encounter after the militants opened hearth on the safety forces, who retaliated.
Three militants have been killed within the gunbattle.
