President Joe Biden’s new pet, Commander, obtained his second beneath the flashing lights of the Washington press corps — and a while frolicking on the seashore — on Tuesday.
Biden and first woman Jill Biden took the German shepherd on a stroll close to their second residence in Rehoboth Seaside, Delaware.
Commander was born Sept. 1 and arrived on the White Home final week, a birthday present from the president’s brother, James Biden, and sister-in-law Sara Biden. Biden launched Commander in a tweet. He turned 79 in November.
Commander is the third German shepherd Biden has welcomed to the White Home. Champ died in June at age 13. The opposite canine, Main, 3, now lives with household mates in Delaware after behaving aggressively whereas residing on the White Home.
The Bidens are spending the vacations between their houses in Delaware.
