Mohali police foiled a looting bid of three gangsters from Uttar Pradesh on Saturday and recovered arms and ammunition from their possession.
The arrested accused have been recognized as Rohit Sharma, resident of Amroha; Rahul Kumar, resident of Mohran; and Abhishek Sharma, resident of UP. All three accused are within the needed listing of the police.
Senior Superintendent of Police Kuldeep Singh Chahal stated two accomplices of the arrested gangsters, nonetheless, managed to offer the police a slip and escaped making the most of darkness.
Two pistols with two stay cartridges, 4 magazines, two country-made .315 bore pistols and 10 quantity .315 bore cartridges had been recovered from their possession, he added.

The three accused have been booked below Part 399 (Making preparation to commit dacoity) and 402 (Assembling for objective of committing dacoity) of the Indian Penal Code at Nayagaon police station.
