Madhopur (Pathankot)- To mark the 350th Martyrdom Anniversary of the Ninth Sikh Guru, Sri Guru Tegh Bahadur Ji, the Nagar Kirtan that began from Srinagar on November 19, at this time entered Punjab and accorded a heartfelt welcome on the Madhopur Head. From Madhopur, the Nagar Kirtan proceeded via Sujanpur, Malkapur, Chhoti Nehar, Tank Chowk, Bus Stand Pathankot, Lights Chowk and Mission Chowk earlier than halting at Sri Guru Harkrishan Public College, Mission Street, Pathankot. The procession will depart from the varsity on November 21 and journey via Simbal Hakk, Chakki bridge, Damtaal, Mirthal and Mansar Toll Plaza earlier than coming into Hoshiarpur district.
Notably, the Nagar Kirtan, which commenced from Srinagar on November 19, will transfer forward from Pathankot for its subsequent vacation spot and halt at Hoshiarpur on November 21. Masking a complete distance of 544 kilometres, the holy procession will conclude at Sri Anandpur Sahib on November 22.
