The All India Council for Technical Schooling (AICTE) has permitted BTech programme in 11 regional languages, Union Schooling Minister Dharmendra Pradhan introduced on Saturday.
These languages are Hindi, Marathi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Gujarati, Malayalam, Bengali, Assamese, Punjabi and Odia.
“AICTE has permitted BTech packages in 11 regional languages. PM Shri @narendramodi is dedicated to selling regional languages in mainstream schooling. NEP stresses on this necessary side to empower college students coming from various areas,” Pradhan tweeted.
Earlier within the day, Vice President M Venkaiah Naidu welcomed the choice of 14 engineering faculties throughout eight states to supply programs in regional languages in choose branches from the brand new tutorial yr.
“Gratitude to Hon. Vice President for welcoming the choice to supply programs in regional language in engineering faculties,” Pradhan stated. PTI
