The UT Powermen Union has sought help from the Chandigarh Residents Associations’ Welfare Federation (CRAWFED) in its struggle towards the privatisation of the UT Electrical energy Division.
Union president Dhyan Singh and normal secretary Gopal Dutt met Hitesh Puri, chairman, and Rajat Malhotra, normal secretary, CRAWFED. They handed over a memorandum to them concerning their request to withdraw the proposal of privatisation of the Electrical energy Division.
After listening to their demand, Hitesh Puri assured the delegation members that he and his group would focus on the matter at size with numerous resident welfare
associations and in addition take up the problem with the native in addition to the Central management.
