Punjab minister Sunder Sham Arora lambasted Congress MLA Navjot Singh Sidhu on Thursday for his repeated tirades in opposition to Chief Minister Amarinder Singh, saying it confirmed “indiscipline and irresponsible behaviour”.
Sidhu has been attacking the state authorities and the chief minister over the alleged delay in justice within the incidents of desecration of a spiritual textual content and subsequent police firing in Faridkot in 2015. He had accused Amarinder Singh of evading accountability within the 2015 sacrilege case.
Amarinder Singh had castigated Sidhu on Tuesday for repeatedly attacking his authorities, calling the outbursts “whole indiscipline”.
Arora reminded the cricketer-turned-politician that the Congress had registered a large victory below the management of Amarinder Singh, who was elected because the chief minister by the celebration’s excessive command.
The minister said the Congress gained extra power in Punjab below the “visionary and in a position” management of Amarinder Singh.
Questioning the chief minister’s management repeatedly is the same as difficult the celebration’s management, Arora stated in Hoshiarpur.
Sidhu may have raised any concern throughout the celebration platform however not by way of social media and statements, which was weakening the celebration, based on Arora.
He suggested Sidhu to honour the celebration’s insurance policies as a disciplined chief of the Congress.
Arora stated the Congress had prolonged due respect and honour to Navjot Sidhu and the chief minister gave him a big Cupboard portfolio although he “couldn’t fulfil the aspirations of the folks”. PTI
