Mohali, April 29
The police have booked unidentified individuals for stealing a .32-bore revolver from the home of a personal safety officer.
The complainant, Sukhdeep Singh (32), initially a resident of Tida village in Mullanpur, said that he was sharing a flat at Cooperative Housing Society, Sector 91, and dealing as a personal safety officer (PSO) at Settling Overseas Immigration Firm for the previous 4 years.
Harvinder Singh, the investigating officer within the case, mentioned the complainant was residing with different companions and so they used to maintain the keys of the flat within the electrical energy field. The field was locked and its key was positioned on it. The complainant said that on April 22, when he was on the point of go to obligation at 10 am he discovered his licensed revolver lacking from the almirah the place he had saved it.
A case was registered beneath Part 380 of the IPC on the Sohana police station. — TPR
