The Chandigarh Administration has imposed a ban on taking out processions, rallies, protests, strikes, and many others inside the territory of UT aside from Rally Floor in Sector 25 for a interval of two months.
An order issued by District Justice of the Peace KK Yadav states that most of the people is prohibited from taking out procession, rally, protest, strike, making speeches, elevating slogans, or gathering of 5 or extra individuals and many others inside the territory of the UT aside from Rally Floor in Sector 25, for a interval of 60 days.
Additional, prior permission for organising procession, rally, protest, strike, making speeches, elevating slogans, gathering of 5 or extra individuals and many others on the Rally Floor should be obtained from the competent authority.
The order will come into power from midnight as we speak and might be efficient until November 15, 2020.
