Ramadan 2025 is the right time to bask in festive flavours, and nothing says celebration like Sheer Khurma.
Elements: 3 tablespoons of ghee, 1 tablespoon of chironji, 1 tablespoon of chopped pista, 1 tablespoon of chopped walnut, 1 tablespoon of chopped almond, 5-7 dates, 1 litre milk, a pinch of saffron, ½ teaspoon of cardamom powder, ½ cup of sugar, 40 gms of wheat vermicelli.
Step 1: Take a pan and add 1.5 tablespoon of ghee. Add chironji, pista, almonds, walnut, dates and stir it.
Step 2: Pour milk right into a pan, then add saffron, cardamom powder and sugar into it. Maintain stirring the combination till it’s decreased to half.
Step 3: In one other pan, add the remaining ghee and fry the damaged vermicelli until frivolously brown.
Step 4: Pour the decreased milk over the semiyan (vermicelli) and prepare dinner for an additional 8-10 minutes.
Take away and warmth and serve scorching or chilly.
