The district administration right here will conduct camps to evaluate the senior residents for offering free distribution of assistive gadgets beneath the Rashtriya Vayoshri Yojana (RVY) within the first week of July.
Deputy Commissioner Vinay Pratap Singh mentioned the camps could be organised by the Auxiliary Manufacturing Centre of Synthetic Limbs Manufacturing Company of India (ALIMCO).
The beneficiaries will likely be referred to as in batches, consisting no more than 30 individuals at a time, he added.
The camps are carried out by the ALIMCO beneath numerous schemes of the federal government free of charge distribution of aids and home equipment to individuals with disabilities and senior residents, mentioned the DC.
He mentioned the camps could be carried out in two phases – within the first part, camp is organised to evaluate the requirement of appropriate assistive gadgets for particular person beneficiaries, whereas within the second part, camp is organised to distribute the home equipment and aids to the recognized beneficiaries.
The DC urged the senior residents to take part within the evaluation camps to be carried out within the first week of July by registering themselves on the nearest frequent service centre.
For registration, an individual must submit a replica of senior citizen card/age proof/copy of Aadhar, a replica of BPL card/pension proof/revenue proof (revenue lower than Rs 15,000 per 30 days issued by village sarpanch, municipal councilor), handle proof and two images, he knowledgeable.
