To streamline the method of land acquisition for the development of the proposed ring street, the district administration has stopped the sale and buy of land in 23 villages, via which the street would move.
For the six-laning of 34-km-long street, 219 hectares of land will probably be acquired in these villages. The authorities stated the motion had been initiated following a letter of the Nationwide Highways Authority of India (NHAI), wherein it has demanded to cease the sale and buy of the land for the mission.
“We’ve obtained a letter from the NHAI, wherein it has requested to cease the sale and buy of the land for the development of the six-lane Karnal ring street. The NHAI has already began the land acquisition course of. The sale and buy of the land has been stopped until the publication of 3A notification,” stated Nishant Kumar Yadav, Deputy Commissioner. The DC stated the ring street mission had been taken below the Bharatmala Pariyojana mission to make sure clean connectivity, cut back journey time, gas and price, and in addition enhance improvement of those villages. The sale and buy of the land has been stopped in Shamgarh, Dadupur, Jhanjhari, Kurali, Darar, Salaru, Taprana, Danialpur, Newal, Kunjpura, Subhri, Chaprakhera, Shekhpura, Suhana, Ranwar, Ganjogarhi, Unchasamana, Kutail, Barota, Kharkali, Jhimerehri, Samalkha and Bijna villages. — TPR
