SAD announces 3 more candidates for Punjab Assembly polls

The Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) on Saturday introduced the names of three extra candidates for the 2022 Punjab Meeting polls.

Sunita Chaudhry has been given a ballot ticket from the Balachaur seat in Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar, whereas Jaspal Singh will contest from the Patiala Rural seat.

Bachittar Singh Kohar would be the SAD nominee from the Shahkot Meeting constituency in Jalandhar district.

“SAD president Sukhbir Singh Badal introduced Sunita Chaudhry from Balachaur, Jaspal Singh Bitu Chatha from Patiala Rural and youth chief Bachittar Singh Kohar from Shahkot meeting constituency as occasion candidates. Whole 83,” occasion chief Daljit Singh Cheema mentioned in a tweet on Saturday.

The SAD has solid an alliance with the Bahujan Samaj Social gathering (BSP) for the upcoming Meeting polls.
