The Supreme Courtroom Tuesday dismissed the pleas in search of removing of former excessive court docket choose Justice (retd) Shashi Kant Agarwal and retired Uttar Pradesh Director Basic of Police (DGP) Okay L Gupta from the inquiry panel to probe the killing of gangster Vikas Dubey in an alleged encounter.
The apex court docket had final week authorised a draft notification by the UP authorities recommending the names of retired Supreme Courtroom choose B S Chauhan and ex-DGP Okay L Gupta to the panel which might probe into the killing of eight policemen and the next encounters of Dubey and 5 of his alleged associates. The panel already had retired Allahabad Excessive Courtroom choose Justice Shashi Kant Agarwal.
A bench comprising Chief Justice S A Bobde and Justices A S Bopanna and V Ramasubramanian, stated it will not enable the petitioners to forged aspersions on the inquiry fee members. Ex-DGP Gupta had stated in a TV debate that it was not proper to doubt the police over the encounter.

Dubey was killed in an encounter within the morning of July 10 when a police car carrying him from Ujjain to Kanpur met with an accident and he tried to flee from the spot in Bhauti space, the police had stated.
