SFS launches protest, demands opening of libraries

Chandigarh, June 2

College students for Society (SFS), Panjab College, began an indefinite protest demanding the opening of libraries and different institutions.

The protesting college students demanded the opening of labs, AC Joshi Library and departmental libraries, contemplating the lockdown interval for hostel keep as zero and prices regularly. They mentioned there needs to be no charge for partial lockdown interval for all PhD students and they need to be allowed to remain in hostels. In addition they demanded the waiving off all prices like library charge, division prices and different infrastructural prices. The mess canteen of ladies’ hostel no. four needs to be opened and the method of RDC and promotion of students from JRF to SRF expedited, they added. — TPR
