SFS launches protest

Chandigarh, June 2

College students for Society (SFS), Panjab College, began an indefinite protest demanding the opening of libraries and different institutions.

The protesting college students demanded the opening of labs, AC Joshi Library and departmental libraries, contemplating the lockdown interval for hostel keep as zero and costs regularly. They stated there must be no charge for partial lockdown interval for all PhD students and they need to be allowed to remain in hostels. Additionally they demanded the waiving off all costs like library charge, division costs and different infrastructural costs. The mess canteen of women’ hostel no. four must be opened and the method of RDC and promotion of students from JRF to SRF expedited, they added. — TPR
