Shekhar Bangera, former India captain and goalkeeper, succumbs to COVID-19

Former Maharashtra goalkeeper Shekhar Bangera has died after battling COVID-19. Bangera, a former Orkay Mills participant, died on Wednesday night time in Udipi, Mangalore.

He was 74 and is survived by his spouse and two daughters.

In line with a press release issued right here by city-based membership Karnatak Sporting Affiliation, Bangera was below remedy for COVID-19 at Mahesh Hospital, Brahmavar and misplaced his battle towards the virus on Wednesday.
