Senior Congress chief and get together’s nationwide common secretary Randeep Singh Surjewala at this time criticised the Haryana Authorities for the shifting of the Maruti DZire manufacturing unit from the state to Gujarat and termed it as “one more proof of the failure of the BJP-JJP-led state authorities”.
He demanded a proof from the Chief Minister Manohar Lal Khattar for the “exodus” of the prevailing industries from the state in the course of the BJP-JJP regime.
In a press assertion issued at this time, Surjewala stated Haryana was a most well-liked state for Japanese investments and nearly 80 per cent of the whole Japanese funding in India had landed within the state alone. The state authorities has failed in inviting extra investments, because it failed in sustaining legislation and order and offering conducive atmosphere for industrial funding. Overlook new investments, the federal government is pushing out the mom manufacturing items of Haryana to different states, he added.
Surjewala stated Maruti has shifted the manufacturing of three automobiles to Gujarat after 2014. It first shifted the manufacturing of Baleno and Swift automobiles to Hansalpur, Gujarat, from Haryana in 2017 and 2019. Now, Dzire has been shifted out of Haryana, he added.
