Police in Stockholm are investigating a lady in her 70s suspected of getting saved her son locked up — reportedly for 28 years — in an condominium south of the Swedish capital, investigators mentioned Tuesday.
Prosecutor Emma Olsson, who heads the preliminary investigation, mentioned the girl who was held on suspicion of illegal deprivation of liberty and grievous bodily hurt.
Olsson mentioned the 41-year-old son was discovered by a relative who then alerted authorities.
The lady has denied wrongdoing, Olsson mentioned, including that the son was admitted to a hospital to be handled for “the bodily accidents he had when he was discovered.”
“We can’t go into what sort of accidents” he has, Olsson mentioned.
Swedish newspaper Expressen mentioned the person was discovered Sunday by a relative who had realized that the aged girl had been admitted to a hospital. The relative went to the flat, discovered the principle door unlocked and entered it.
