Gurugram, July 14
Two gangsters, carrying a bounty of Rs 1 lakh every, had been injured and nabbed following a short encounter close to Ghata village within the wee hours at the moment.
Over 40 rounds had been fired between the police and the gangsters, which left each accused and three cops injured. Two pistols, two cartridges and a bike had been recovered from the accused.
The 2 had been being handled at Delhi’s Safdurjung hospital, whereas the cops had been being handled at a Gurugram hospital.
An FIR on this regard was registered on the Sector 56 police station.
In keeping with the police, the accused had been recognized as Prashant, alias Jontu (24), a resident of Kulasi village, and Manish Jhakhad (30), a resident of Salhawas in Jhajjar district. Jontu was concerned in 12 instances of homicide, try and homicide, loot, dacoity and assaults on police groups. Jontu had allegedly killed a PG operator Sandeep in Gurugram on Could four and Manish was additionally concerned in it. Sandeep had reportedly requested for his or her IDs to allow them to keep within the PG.
Preet Pal Singh Sangwan, ACP, Crime, mentioned the accused had been coming to Gurugram from Faridabad once they had been nabbed by the police workforce.
Police Commissioner KK Rao has introduced a reward for the police workforce by terming the operation a serious success.
