Chandigarh- The Punjab Vigilance Bureau (VB) on Monday, arrested Jatinder Singh, a Safety Guard posted on the Civil Hospital Baba Bakala Sahib, Amritsar district, red-handed whereas he was accepting a bribe of Rs 15000.
Disclosing this right here right now an official spokesperson of the state VB mentioned the accused was apprehended following a grievance of Resham Singh. The complainant has alleged to the VB that mentioned accused has demanded bribe of Rs 15000 for facilitating the issuance of a destructive dope check certificates for an arms licence.
He knowledgeable that after a preliminary examination of this grievance a Flying Squad crew from VB laid a lure throughout which the aforementioned accused was arrested whereas he was taking the bribe of Rs 15000 from the complainant within the presence of two official witnesses.
