Royal Challengers Bangalore skipper Virat Kohli was fined Rs 12 lakh for his group’s sluggish over-rate towards Chennai Tremendous Kings in an IPL sport on Sunday.
CSK scored 191 for 4 after which restricted RCB to 122 for 9, driving on Ravindra Jadeja’s all-round present.
“Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Virat Kohli has been fined after his group maintained a sluggish over price throughout their Indian Premier League match towards Chennai Tremendous Kings on the Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai on April 25,” a media launch mentioned.

Penalty for sluggish over price:
For the primary offense, the captain will probably be fined INR 12 Lakhs.
If the group repeats the offense for the second time, the captain will probably be fined a sum of INR 24 Lakhs. Every member of the group will probably be fined INR 6 Lakhs or 25% of the match charge, whichever is lesser.
If the offense is repeated for the third time, the captain be fined a sum of INR 30 Lakhs and will probably be banned for one IPL match. Every member of the group will probably be fined a sum of INR 12 Lakhs or 50% of the match charge, whichever is lesser.
