The police arrested a placement company proprietor, Gaurav Arora, and booked 9 others for dishonest unemployed youth on the pretext of offering jobs.
The suspect had opened six places of work within the tricity to dupe harmless individuals on the pretext of offering jobs in authorities establishments, banks and personal firms.
A case underneath Sections 420, 406 and 120-B of the IPC was registered in opposition to Gaurav Arora and 9 others on the Zirakpur police station at this time.
Zirakpur SHO Onkar Singh Brar stated the suspect operated underneath three names and had given totally different addresses of Dhakoli, Panchkula and Sirsa to the victims. The complainants stated after they tried to contact the suspect, his places of work had been discovered locked on July 17. Later, they approached the police.
