Haryana Revises EWS Income Limit to Rs 8 Lakh in Line with Centre’s Guidelines

Chandigarh- The Haryana Authorities has revised the annual household earnings restrict for the Economically Weaker Part (EWS) class from Rs 6 lakh to Rs 8 lakh, bringing it consistent with the rules of the Authorities of India. A letter on this regard has been issued by the Chief Secretarys Workplace.

The revised earnings criterion will apply to reservations in direct recruitment to civil posts and providers, in addition to admissions to authorities and government-aided academic establishments within the state.

In accordance with official directions issued by the state authorities, the sooner earnings restrict of Rs 6 lakh each year was mounted below directions dated February 25, 2019. The matter was subsequently reviewed, and the federal government has now determined to reinforce the earnings ceiling to Rs 8 lakh each year.
