Residents of Sector 23A’s economically weaker part (EWS) colony have alleged civic neglect by the Municipal Company of Gurugram (MCG), voicing issues over irregular street sweeping and the shortage of door-to-door rubbish assortment within the space.

The residents claimed that door-to-door rubbish assortment has been halted for the previous six months, forcing them to dump rubbish in open spots.

Kumar added that residents are employed to pay a personal contractor for rubbish assortment for ₹100 a month. “However even then, the service is much from handy.
